Monsters by B.

B told me it was Halloween. I felt a little guilty for not remembering or making an effort. But I brushed off the guilt and remembered I wasn't American.
Then I got really frightened as Little Miss painted this picture.

What on earth has she seen to influence this "Scary Mask" as she calls it? I would not have believed she painted it unless I saw it with my own eyes... But she wasn't worried in the slightest.
Spooky day indeed.

Quite a few kids around my area dressed up and went trick or treating last night.
Lollies are a BIG part of Halloween.....and the dressing up.
Little Miss probably saw those scary masks on television or around the streets and she has a good memory to recreate them.
B's drawings as always are very creative.

Well it certainly was timely for Halloween. I don't think you have to read too much into it as I am amazed at how much trashy TV programs for children are about. Even a glance at something that they may not even be watching themselves is imprinted in their young minds to analyse as a normal learning process. It all sticks.
