"I like my long hair Mum" he informed me.
"So do I," I said, "Thats why I'm taking you to my hairdresser." I thought it would be worth a try.
On all the occasions I had been to my hairdressers I had been blissfully unaware of a special area equipped for the little people. So I was amazed and very pleasantly surprised with the set up. The kids area is just off to the side of the main salon, so any noisy children wont disturb the vibe, and it contains kids seats with mirrors plus lots of toys, entertainment and even a lolly machine.
B was more than happy to sit and watch a DVD he chose, while Mel styled his hair. I was really impressed as B didn't fidget and B didn't complain.
Little Miss had plenty to occupy herself with too.
And what a great haircut he got.

Well...I wasn't sure whether the picture was a before or after! However it is better than a Mohawk or a Skinhead, no doubt he will experiment with these in time. Seeing that the verification word is CHIPPR that set me back a bit. Just pass this old fuddy-duddy a dinosaur bone to chew.
That boy is going to be a heartbreaker! Silly term but you know what I mean.
Love his haircut and good on salons who are kid friendly. Love Little Miss' hair as well.
I am pleased you like long hair on boys CF and allow him to have long hair. I think it is important they visit the hairdresser early on in life to understand the importance of hair care.
Joseph and Charlie now have long hair too, much to the distain of their parents.....I love their hair.
Great facilities at your hairdressers for children.....they deserve a plug!
